It's almost moving day! I am bubbling over in excitement! Cannot wait!
We are about 95% packed now, just have the last essentials to pack and lots of cleaning to do; like to leave the place cleaner than we got it.
My lung infection is getting worse, I am huffing and puffing anytime I get too active; gotta take lots of breaks! However, I think I will make it out of here in time! Before it gets to the point where I need steriods again. Thank the Gods!
My computer is still down and sadly won't be up and going again until we get to New Brunswick. What a bummer. At least I have my tablet and am getting better with it!
We pretty well have all the funds needed for moving. We are going to be a little tight on grocery money for the first coulpe of days, but that's survivable! We are trying to make arrangements to get a free couch off Kijiji on saturday to get us started (once I get a couch I will be able to do dances again and all will be good!)
Again thank you so much everyone for your support and help! It is appreciated more than I can say. My Go Fund Me is only $120 from being complete; that's amazing! Thank you so much!!!
I will have internet in New Brunswick on Monday and will update asap, with pics of my new place! It will be great to have real hydro and be able to use my computer again!!
Hugs and love!

The Home Stretch
Well, I have almost made it to the end off this off-grid adventure. Honestly, I am overjoyed! I really miss working and feel horrible that I had book commitments that I could not meet this winter. I am really lookinh forward to real hydro!
It other news, I ran out of propane. Damn! I was hoping it would last till after I left. No big deal, just a bit of a pain in the butt.
My eye problems have really iimproved. My eyes are pretty well back to norma. Unfortunately my lungs are getting worse by the day.
My keyboard died for my computer yesterday. Big bummer. It's really hard to do anything on a computer without a keyboard. I am writing this blog post on my tablet; first ever blog posts from my tablet
I have almost been able to put together enough money for moving, just a couple hunded more and we'll be all set. Thank you everyone who made donations to our Go Fund Me Page, it has been a life saver! This experience has sure taught me some lessons, I now have a greater understand of what it is like be dirt poor ... it sucks huge. I am not a money motivated person but I normally get by prett good. This experience has been humbling and a good life lesson on how quickly things can go bad. However, it is also a good reminder on how awesome people can be. I literally wept in graditude with every donation that was made. Thank you
Tomorrow looks t be a busy day, I have dances (I hope!) in the morning, than garbage to the dump and packing inn the afternoon. Really trying hard to leave the place cleaner than I found it :)

Only Ten Days to Go!
Only ten days to go till I move! I am so friggin' happy and excited! This winter has been a nightmare, I am so glad to get back to normal hydro and heat! My lungs are getting worse by the day, I am so looking forward to breathing clean air again! I just hope I can make it ten more days without having to get another round of steroids for my lungs. People with asthma should not live in small homes with low ceilings with wood stoves!
I ended up at the hospital Saturday due to severe eye irritation. I thought I had an eye infection and as I am blind in one eye, its pretty scary when there is something wrong with your one good eye. I have never had an eye infection or irritation in my life! I bet you can guess what it was caused by .... yep, the woodstove! Both my eyes are pretty red and swollen right now, but the Dr gave me some eye drops and they are getting better. Again, I just need to get away from the woodstove!
Saturday was crazy cold here; it got to be -43 overnight! We stayed up overnight to keep the woodstove going strong and even put on the propane heat ... it didn't help much. Below is a pic from the window of my son's bedroom, taken Sunday morning. Yep, all that ice/frost/snow is on the inside! Perhaps this place is more of a three season house than a four season house?

I spent yesterday packing and taking pics of things I can sell (and posting ads on Kijiji). I am still struggling to make moving money :( It sucks selling stuff, but staying here sucks more! Sadly it's going to cost about $1200 to move, and that's without most furniture.
If anyone can help out with a bit of a donation, I do have a Go-Fund Me page going:
Any help, even $10-$20 would be greatly appreciated!
I am super excited to get to New Brunswick and start a whole new adventure! I already have the internet called and ready to set up Feb 28. I still had to go with Xplornet, but got a way better deal, 200GB for $60 instead of 50GB for $70 that I have now.
It's snowing here today, so I am off to shovel the driveway. Have a great day all!
Thank you so much for all your support and love! Hugs!

New Brunswick!
I'm moving to New Brunswick!!! I am so friggin' excited!
We took the awesome house near Fredericton; 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom, huge workshop, garage and several sheds, 3 and 1/2 acres (Some grass and some woods), a garden already put in and of course crazy critter friendly!! I can add more hens and even get goats!!
I'm going to see whales!
Moving to the East Coast has always been a dream of mine, so I am super happy!!
It's going to be a busy three weeks. Lots to get done, and lots of money to make. But, it will all be worth it! We are going to get our life back on track, get my health better and have an awesome new adventure!
I will keep you updated the best I can and when I get there and have normal hydro again, prepare for tons of photos!!
Hugs!!!

26 Days Left
Hi! Hope everyone has been well!
Sorry, I haven't blogged for so long :( I'm still fighting with extremely limited power and simply don't get enough time on my computer to get everything that needs to be done done.
Only 26 days till we move! I can't wait!!!! I miss making art so incredibly much! I have piles of cool design ideas running around in my head and nothing to do with them.
I'm still looking for a place in Ontario, but if nothing is found by Feb 7, then I am taking an awesome place I was offered in New Brunswick. We have always wanted to live near the ocean so are very excited about the idea of moving to the East Coast! The place I was offered in New Brunswick is about a ten minute walk from the St. John's River, about a 20 minute drive from Fredericton. It's a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom house on 4 acres. It has a second house on the property that has been converted into a workshop, plus it has a garage and a shed. All my fur and feather babies are welcome and its only $600 a month!
I could still use some help with moving expenses, if anyone could help out, it would be hugely appreciated:
I will try my best to keep everyone posted on my moving plans. Just 26 more days and I will be back to having city hydro again and back to being able to blog several times a week!! I'm beyond excited!
I could do the whole off-grid thing if I had to ... if zombies were attacking or something ... but, at least at the moment it's not necessary, so I want normal unlimited hydro back! and for my health, I need a different heat source than a wood stove.
Hugs and love!
