Blog Changes

Good day awesome friends! As you can see I've changed and updated my blog!

It had been a long time since I updated it and as I wanted to downsize my work load a bit, I shut down my Happy Hippie Haven blog and sort of combined it with this one. :) Hopefully it will make things a bit easier!

Wishing you all the very best! Love and hugs!

Make a Marijuana Grow Box for Free

With it being legal to grow four plants per household here in Canada, many people are giving it a try. My house is super cold in the winter, making it very difficult to grow plants, so I made this grow box. It took me about 15 minutes to make and didn't cost me a penny; I had everything needed around the house.

A friend kindly gave me this box. It worked perfect for what I wanted. A good height for small plants and fairly thick cardboard.

I cut a hole in the top and attached the light to a piece of wood. super easy. Light goes in hole I cut. piece of wood sits on top of box.

Next, I lined the inside of the box with Styrofoam that was covered in tinfoil (which a friend rescued from the side of the highway). The Styrofoam helps to keep the inside of the box nice and warm, and the foil helps to reflect the light so the plants get more.

I started from seeds, so when they first went in, I put the glasses on a pile of books so they were closer to the light. As the plants grew I simply removed books. Once the plants get about 80-90% to the lights, I'll start flowering them. I do that simply by decreasing the light they get.  The box isn't extremely large, so it won't allow me to grown huge plants, but it works great for small plants and even a small plant can produce a few ounces of bud.

Super easy and cheap, anyone can make one :)
