Melmerby Beach Provincial Park

My son and I took a big bike trip to Melmerby Beach Provincial Park yesterday. It was about 32km round trip. It was quite the trip for me and my health problems, but we went slow, took lots of breaks and had lots of drinks and snacks.

This is the route we took.Google says it's a 54 minute ride, but it took us about 1 hour 20 minutes to get there and about 2 hours 15 minutes to get home.  It's a LOT of hills. Basically, we were either going up or down, there was no flat areas.

It was a lovely beach and really great in the morning when it was almost empty. In the afternoon it got pretty busy. We got lots of great shells and some cool crab exo-skeletons.
