Happy Saturday

Good morning everyone! Happy Saturday! I hope you are all doing great!

We are busy, busy, busy playing catch up on all the chores we didn't get done back in May as we were too busy cleaning up after the cows, and we are still working on cleaning the cow area. So much to do!

This morning we walked the driveway and trimmed back any trees/bushes that were sticking out and might scratch a car. We also cleaned up some doggie poop; raked up and moved four more wheelbarrows of hay from Turtle Lane (cow area); filled our raised garden box with dirt and filled in a couple of holes the chickens had made; and moved a huge pile of wood up the the house so it can be cut up for winter wood.

Here's some photos from this morning:

First pic is of the new wagon!!! It holds up to 1200 pounds! I'm sure I couldn't pull that much weight! It's very sturdy, so hopefully lasts for many many years to come! It's been here four days and I've already used it about ten times. Thank you so much to those who helped me get it. I cannot express how much I appreciated the help.

You guys have seen this pic a million times ! LOL Turtle Lane (cow area). The front area still has too much hay, so still working on removing more. So. Much. Hay. Blows my mind! Thankfully the rush on the cow area is over as the worst of the poop is moved so there isn't a horrible smell and hoards of bugs! That was our big concern and why we pushed so hard in the spring to get it done. The smell was so bad we couldn't enjoy our time outside!

Look at Travis working hard! :) He's bring up a wheelbarrow full of manure and soil for our raised garden box and to fill some holes the chickens made.

Travis filling in holes the eeevvviiiillll chickens made!

Last pic is of the big pile of tree limbs and trees we brought up from Turtle Lane. It's all stuff we had to cut down due to cow damage. Making a big pile up near the house so we can cut it all up for winter wood. No need to let it go to waste! There is still a ton of trees that need trimming or cut down in what was the cow area. We'll get to them eventually!

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend! Thanks for the support and love! I'm blessed to have such awesome friends!! :) Love you!!!!
